Opening hours

The Hastings Hub is open from 9:30am to 2:30pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Clients can drop in without a prior appointment, and will be admitted on a first come first served basis.

AA meetings

AA meetings will resume at the Hastings Hub on the 7th of June from 6.30pm to 7.30 pm.

Free health checks

We are happy to confirm that OneYou will be back providing free 30-minute health checks and personalised advice. This is designed to spot the early signs of life-threatening disease and to potentially mitigate the risk.

You are eligible for the health check you:

  • are aged 40-74
  • haven’t had a stroke
  • don’t suffer from heart disease or kidney disease,
  • have not been diagnosed with high blood pressure, high cholesterol or diabetes
  • have not already had an NHS health check in the last five years.

The OneYou team will be at ESRA on Weds 16th June, Weds 23rd June and Weds 7th July. Please book in advance with reception.

Art classes

The Making Room will be hosting the following art workshops in the coming months:

Mono-print workshop – An intriguing and fun l fine art printmaking method using experimental print making techniques to produce colourful unique prints.

Eco Bunting - A collaborative workshop where participants will work as team to produce a colourful and cheerful installation of handmade bunting. The focus of this artwork will be the reuse of single use plastic, spreading a positive environmental message.

‘It’s a wrap’ workshop – Using block printing methods, participants will create their own personalised greetings cards and wrapping paper. They will be shown the basics of pattern making and lino cutting with the possibility of independently creating a selection of greetings cards for sale.


Jason’s weekly fishing group is open to the wider recovery community. He is an excellent teacher and he welcomes anyone with an interest in fishing, including complete newbies. This group has been funded by CGL’s Big Ideas Fund.
